The highly anticipated “NBA 2k14will be out Oct. 1, bringing big changes to the previous year’s game. All around the world gamers and sports fans alike will become immersed with the games new features.

Over the years 2K Sports has had it’s ups and downs, from the very minimal changes from “NBA 2k11” to “NBA 2k12,” to crew mode recently being brought back through popular demand.

Crew mode in “NBA 2k11” was arguably the best mode of all time, when it was taken out of “NBA 2k12” the fans and buyers were devastated as they couldn’t play specific games with their friends.

This year crew mode is back. But, some very important things have come with the mode.

In “NBA 2k13” blacktop mode was introduced, which is like crew mode except its 3 on 3 and to 21. Mixed emotions such as happiness, to relaxed and even anger have been brought up.

“Straight up community. If you wanna win your game, if you build a community and a bond with your teammates. Then this is absolutely the game mode for you,” said popular YouTube user “Subthegamer” in recent 2K Sports video.

In “NBA 2k13” the ability to block dunks was taken out for some reason, this year the first thing they announced was that you could now block dunks.

“Isn’t that kinda crazy how that has to be an announcement that you can block dunks in a basketball game?” said YouTube user “Shakeown12” in an opinions video on the new feature.

Many people feel like blocking dunks shouldn’t be an announcement, nonetheless people are getting hype for the upcoming ability to chase down a steal and rightfully block it.

Many other things have been included such as flashy passes and live NBA feed. To see the rest you might just have to buy the game yourself.

The game will be out for current generation consoles including X Box 360, PC and PS3. A month after that the game with be out for next gen X Box one and PS4.
