Audio Story: Light Rail serves as more than transportation

Phoenix’s Metro Light Rail runs dozens of routes daily and thousands of people utilize it for transportation.

For many riders though, the train has taken the shape of a shelter or place of refuge.

The Roundup interviewed some of these individuals as well as  students who regularly ride the Light Rail.
