Basketball tops Desert Mountain on ‘hoopcoming’ night

Freddy Erlandson ’15 and Colter Galente ’16 combined for a total of 26 rebounds, 11 of which came in the fourth quarter alone, as the Broncos topped Desert Mountain Jan. 30 at home during their “Hoopcoming” game.

The Broncos came into the game 14-7, while the Wolves were 11-12.

The student crowd organized a “silent night” event, so gym was silent until Galante made the 10th point on a free throw in the first quarter.

The first quarter ended with the Broncos up 15-11.

The game was neck and neck until the Wolves fought their way back to lead the third quarter 40-38.

The Broncos pushed back the Wolves to win the game 55-48.

Bo Brunkhorst ’16 had a complete game with 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
