Fall TV lineup delivers promise, laughter and music

It’s that time of year again, the time when we are settled in to school, break out the fall colors and indulge ourselves with the plethora of pumpkin flavored seasonal sweets.

But with fall also comes a new lineup of television, and this fall’s array of shows seems very promising in its early weeks.

With the conclusion of the Gears of War franchised, its third installment strives to wipe out the competition with an upgraded campaign and multiplayer.

Developed by Epic Games, “Gears of War 3” is a third-person shooter created exclusively for the Xbox 360.

Clutch fourth quarter plays erase struggles in Bronco win

With just 1:53 remaining in the game, Brophy kicker Zach Hudson ’12 kicked a 46-yard field goal giving the Broncos a 24-21 lead over the Westview Knights Friday, Oct. 6.

That lead would be enough to win the game and allow Brophy to maintain its undefeated record this season.

Brophy overcomes quick deficit to top Mountain Pointe

Brophy wide receiver Fred Gammage ’12 nabbed three touchdown catches Friday, Sept. 30 to help the Broncos hand the Mountain Pointe Pride a 31-14 loss.

Brophy was able to avenge last year’s 13-12 loss to Mountain Pointe in the second round of the playoffs.
