Crew splashes past the old 3K world record by 34 seconds

During the weekend of Feb. 25 the Arizona Indoor Rowing Championships took place in Robson Gym.

Brophy Crew won the event and broke the 3K world record by 34 seconds.

Matt Nelson ’12 won first place in the Men’s Lightweight Junior 2K.

Rowers Cole Garcia ’13, Jackson Bently ’13, Max Hall ’14 and Sean McMahon ’13 were the members of the relay team who broke the record with a time of eight minutes and fifty one seconds.
