The Office of Faith and Justice is hosting a shoe drive for Homeward Bound and other organizations that serve families in need.
The OFJ is asking for new or gently used shoes.
Bring the shoes by the OFJ by May 11 to contribute to this cause.
The Brophy community is also having a Kindness Walk to support families that have experienced the death of a child.
They are looking or walkers, volunteers and donations for this event.
It is hosted by the Miss Foundation and is on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13 at the Phoenix Zoo.
Registration begins at 6:45 a.m. and the actual walk begins at 7:30.
