Chaparral retook the lead in the bottom half of the third inning when Diamond scored on a passed ball after reaching on a single and being bunted over to third.
In the fourth, Brophy tied the game again when Graybill hit an RBI single scoring Castellani who tripled earlier in the inning making the score 3-3.
In the fifth inning, Jake Steffens ’12 came into pitch for the Broncos and retired six batters in a row.
