After years of hopeful waiting for the sequel to “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy”, the legend does indeed continue.

In a turn of events that lead Will Ferrell’s character, Ron Burgundy, and his old crew to a new news station in New York City, the team of experienced newsmen is forced to revolutionize the journalism industry.

Burgundy and his crew then make an impossible bet to earn more viewers than his rival anchorman.

In a desperate attempt to keep his job, Burgundy suggests the idea of telling the people what they want to hear, instead of telling them what they need to hear.

Burgundy is trying to accomplish all of this while trying to spend more time with his own son.

Ultimately, Burgundy is faced with the most difficult challenge of all: He has to make it to his son’s piano recital.

Every minute of this movie is hilarious.

Almost every line in the film is supposed to make people laugh.

Of course, this movie would not be complete without recreating the famous fight scene from the original movie.

In the new film, the fight scene has increased in news teams, cameos and the amount of laughter it causes the audience has increased exponentially.

If you thought the original fight scene was outrageous, wacky and hilarious, you owe it to yourself to see this movie.

So many lines in this movie that are said by Ron Burgundy make him sound like the exact person that should not be on a news team, let alone the lead anchor.

The writing in the movie is still hilarious and is funnier than the original, although certain dialogue, especially while Burgundy is talking to his son, should have been either left out or changed.

“Anchorman 2” is a must see, even for those who were not huge fans of the first one.
