Brophy came in to the state semifinal match against Hamilton Nov. 21 with a nine-game win streak, but that momentum was not enough against the No. 1 seeded Huskies.

The last time the Brophy Broncos played at Hamilton High School, which was 2008, Brophy was shut out 10-0.
Two years later Brophy returned to Hamilton and was shut out again, this time by a score of 27-0 on Oct 22.
Brophy (4-4 overall, 2-2 Fiesta) had an opportunity early in the second quarter to score.
Hamilton shuts down Brophy offense in loss
The Hamilton Huskies shut out Brophy in a 27-0 loss Oct. 22, the first time the Broncos have not scored a point since they last played Hamilton in Chandler.
On their first possession, Brophy went three-and-out that led to a 25-yard Hamilton field goal with 7:33 left in the first quarter.
Brophy’s best drive of the night, 52 yards, was stopped by a missed 34-yard field goal by Zac Bryan ’12 with 11:15 to go in the half.
Hamilton ‘Pounds’ Broncos to end winning streak
It was a White Out at Brophy Feb. 5 but the black-clad Hamilton Huskies crashed the party and ended the Broncos’ five-game winning streak with a 57-48 victory.
