After a few weeks of development, The Roundup Games is now ready for you to play, with the first set of weekly games out. Developed by member of The Roundup Club Carter Kasarjian ’30, this site features two weekly games, three always available games, and also bonus games for special occasions.
The weekly crossword is a themed 15×15 crossword that gets updated each Monday. This weeks theme is the Brophy admissions process. As well, it has a 3/5 difficulty.
Like the weekly crossword, the weekly word search is a puzzle that gets updated each Monday. For this week, the theme is our Jesuit identity, and it has a 5/5 difficulty. Good luck!
In addition to these weekly puzzles, for the first week of The Roundup Games, you can play a special edition puzzle, which this time is a puzzle comparable to the New York Times’ spelling bee, where the object is to make as many words as possible using the provided letters and central letter. The letters on the outside are ROUNDP, and the central letter is G.
The last three games are always available and use the same set of multiple-choice trivia questions. Bronco Blitz is a simple game where you try to answer as many of these questions as possible in 30 seconds. In Bronco Dash, you have to answer these questions to finish the race as fast as possible, or go too slow and lose. And in Bronco Splash, the object is to finish a 50 with the quickest time possible, while getting penalized for answering wrong or taking too long. Depending on how well you do, you might be able to make it to the top of the leaderboard!
