Last year Brophy was one of the only high schools in Arizona to sell soda to students.
This year however, the Brophy administration has evicted soda from the campus.

New World Languages teacher Mr. Richard Cordova comes to Brophy with the task of making a difference in the lives of students by getting them to love the language of Spanish.
Mr. Cordova has been teaching for 14 years and he is currently serving his first year as a Brophy teacher, teaching Spanish 2 and Conversational Spanish.

The Brophy Broncos faced Red Mountain Sept. 9 under a lightning storm that would temporarily halt the game, but the delay didn’t stop the Broncos’ special teams from helping to secure a 31-13 win.
“I think special teams,” said Brophy football head coach Mr. Scooter Molander of the team’s strong point for the night. “Despite the kickoff return, I felt like we did a nice job on all the other areas.” “We were solid on PAT’s and field goals, we got a punt return and I am proud of our development in that area.”

Toshiba has been the face of Brophy technology for years and now Lenovo will likely be replacing the school’s computers.
The incoming freshmen will receive these new Tablets, and the price will be about the same as what previous classes had to pay for the Toshiba units.

As a Scripture and Synthesis teacher students say Mr. Jim Grindey uses his trademark slogans and powerful voice to make religion a memorable experience.
Mr. Grindey has been teaching since 1987, and used to be the Dean of Students at Seton High school.
