While voting may seem a long way off for many students at Brophy, awareness about the issues and policies that are currently confronting law makers is important for further education and application in the real world.
Many say that there is no reason for youth to be involved in politics, but this argument is proven to be false.

Well never before has it so been true for our system of government.
As Brophy students will eventually play a role in our democracy, it is a subject of vital interest.

Well never before has it been so true for our system of government.
As Brophy students will eventually play a role in our democracy, it is a subject of vital interest.
According to the Washington Post, special interest groups have had a five–fold increase in spending so far in this election cycle than in the entire 2006 run, and the majority appearing from anonymous sources.
There is no doubt the seniors this year will be missed, a sentiment made even more apparent when looking at the current student council.
Who will be able to pump up the student body quite like Bryce Muzzy ’10? Who will set up all the technology before the dances like Eric Huso ’10 has done for years?
While these students will be missed, their departure means that Brophy must find new leaders in the form of the student council elections.
