Throughout his day, Dean Mr. Austin Pidgeon ’08 puts himself in positions to fully embrace and interact with others.
He chose to apply for the position of dean because of the dean’s ability to apply himself around campus.
“It allows me to interact with more students. When I was just a teacher, I could only interact with 140 students at a time,” Mr. Pidgeon said. “Now I have the opportunity to grow closer to all 1300 students.”
He said that it doesn’t necessarily feel more powerful, but more of another role in which he can help others; especially in that he can directly work with students and families to make sure they feel secure and welcome in the community.
