The current wildfire of political uprisings within the Middle East requires students to examine the causes of these events and the effect they have on each other.

The siege of Tunisia’s government began in December as citizens started demanding more jobs and more freedom from the government, according to the British Broadcasting Corporation.

Humankind has always been interested in the destruction of civilization, social structures and order.

Such fascination has brought about the formation of several hypothesis as too the destruction of modern society.

One of these hypotheses is a pandemic of a parasitical virus which turns its victims into rabid, carnivorous “zombies.”

“The Walking Dead,” a recent addition to the American Movie Channel’s winter line up, gives a realistic and well-probed fictional representation of how real people would react to the destruction of everything modern.

Techno Tuesday club keeps the bass steady

Tuesdays are days usually filled with hurried chatter, tests being assigned and students rushing to finish assignments.

As lunch begins all of these things can be seen in virtually every part of Brophy; however, if one takes a moment and listens, he will hear the steady beat of phonological sounds drawing them in.

Those sounds are coming from the Techno Tuesday Club.

Techno Tuesday was started by alumnus Bryce Muzzy ’10 as a way for students to express themselves through rapid tempo, interesting music and dancing.

The doors of Congress opened Sept. 24 to Stephen Colbert, a major comedian on Comedy Central.

Colbert testified on the current situation of migrant farmers, and how our economy can’t survive without them.

“I don’t want a tomato picked by a Mexican. I want it picked by an American. And sliced by a Guatemalan, and served by a Venezuelan, in a spa, where a Chilean gives me a Brazilian wax. ” Joked Colbert as he pointed out how integrated migrant workers are in our society.
