THE ROUNDUP
Editor in Chief of The Roundup, Jackson Moran ’21 took the time to discuss his background on The Roundup, the process of moving up the ranks on a newspaper, and the roles and responsibilities that Moran has as Editor in Chief.
Moran joined The Roundup as a sophomore looking for something new that intrigued him. During his time as a sophomore, he wrote upwards of 20 articles. This dedication earned Moran the Editor in Chief position going into his junior year.
Moran touched on potentially pursuing journalism as a career in his future. “I will always have a soft spot for journalism,” said Moran. He also said that he would definitely consider journalism as a future career, but he is not sure what career path he is planning to take down the line.
In addition to his Editor in Chief position, Moran also has been running track and field since the fifth grade. Needless to say with such a variety of interests, Moran can take any number of routes going into the future.
