ld covered in darkness and chaos?

Would it be possible to survive in a world where light does not exist?

In “Thor: The Dark World” the dark elves have returned and plan to take control of the universe with an unstable substance that has been long buried away.

The dark elves are led by Malekith, played by Christopher Eccleston, who is a ruthless destroyer of worlds, including his own.

Thor, Chris Hemsworth, will have to do anything to save all nine realms.

Through his journey he will meet with previous characters including Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, and Erik Selvig, played by Stellan Skarsgård.

In the first movie, “Thor”, Asgard and Earth are in danger as Loki and the Ice giants terrorize our worlds.  Thor has to regain his powers by learning to be a true king and save his friends and home.

There were many things in this movie that distinguish it from other Marvel movies.

There is a lot of exciting action and more humor than any other Marvel movie.

Thor is constantly swinging his mighty hammer Mjolnir and literally shocking his enemies.

Loki returns and he is even more sly and sneaky this time around.

It was hard for me to keep track of him throughout the entire movie.

Odin also returns as king of Asgard and protector of the nine realms.

One of my favorite parts of this movie was how amazing Asgard and some of the other worlds that are displayed look.

One scene at night is simply the most beautiful scene in any Marvel movie, but there is context behind it so I won’t spoil anything.

Another great thing about the movie was the costume design.

They were all very big and glamorous and they showed off what Norse Gods would look like in the real world.

I also loved how powerful the villains were in this movie.

Malekith turned his top soldier into Kurse (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), a hulking monster who has the potential to destroy Asgard single-handedly.

The only problem i had with the movie was the humor got a bit too crude and silly, and I started expecting jokes rather than Thor whacking people around with his hammer.

This movie blew me away and it is definitely a must see for anyone.
