Maintenance crews expect water service to Brophy will not be fully restored in order for school to resume from Spring Break Tuesday, April 26.
According to a mass announcement sent out Monday afternoon to students and parents, school for all but a few students in select AP classes will be canceled as well maintenance that began before Spring Break took longer than expected.
For the list of those classes that will meet on Tuesday as well as the schedule for those classes, visit the Brophy website at http://brophyprep.org/. Attendance is mandatory for students in those classes and proper dress code is expected.
Students with classes Tuesday are asked to bring their own drinking water as drinking fountains and some bathrooms are inoperable.
All students are requested to check their Brophy e-mail and Blackboard Tuesday morning will be responsible for assignments posted to Blackboard before 8:15 a.m.
The schedule for the remaining weeks of school will be amended to make up for the missed class periods Tuesday and will be posted to Brophy’s website.
Several events scheduled for the upcoming week have been rescheduled as a result of the maintenance problems.
For a list of these rescheduled events as well as more information, check out Brophy’s website: http://brophyprep.org/.
Classes for all students are expected resume on Wednesday.
Brophy uses its own well to supply water to campus rather than using municipal water. Several days before break, the Graham Plaza was partially fenced off as preliminary stages of the maintenance project began.
