Thespian Caruso awarded nationally

The National Youth Arts awards honored recent graduate Kasey Caruso ’13 with the “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play” award for his performance in “A Few Good Men.”

Caruso played the role of Lt. J.G. Daniel Kaffee in last year’s production.
According to a press release, the National Youth Arts awards reviewed more than 300 performances last year to determine the honorees.
To be considered for an award, winners were nominated by adults who worked with youth productions.
“A Few Good Men” ran from Oct. 31st to Nov. 10th 2012 in Brophy’s Black Box Theatre.
